P	సరోజ దళ నేత్రి హిమగిరి పుత్రి నీ పదాంబుజములె సదా నమ్మినా నమ్మ శుభమిమ్మ శ్రీ మీనాక్షమ్మ ||	Oh daughter of Himagiri, your eyes are like petals of lotus. I have faith in your lotus feet. Oh Mother Meenakshi (one who has fish shaped eyes), bestow me happiness. ||
AP	పరాకు సేయక వరదాయని నీ వలె దైవము లోకములో గలదా పురాణి శుక పాణి మధుర వేణి సదా సివునికి రాణి ||	Is there any other God in this world who bestows boons like you. Don’t be indifferent towards me. You are primeval. Your tresses look like a black swarm of bees. You hold a parrot in your hand. You are the queen of Sada Siva. ||
C	కోరి వచ్చిన వారి కెల్ల ను కోర్కె లొసగే బిరుదు కదా అతి భారమా నన్ను బ్రోవ తల్లి క్రుపా వాల నే తాళ జాల నే ||	You are famous for fulfilling the wishes of your devotees. Am I a burden to you? I can not bear this delay, Oh all merciful Goddess. ||
C	ఇందు ముఖి కరుణించు మని నిన్నెంతో వేడు కొంటిని నా యందు జాగేలనమ్మా మర్యాద గాదు దయావథి నీవు||	You have moon like face. I sought your grace repeatedly, why this delay? It is not befitting you. You are the repository of kindness. ||
C	సామ గాన వినోదిని గుణ ధామ శ్యామ క్రిష్ణ వినుత శుక శ్యామలా దేవి నీవే గతి రతి కామ కామ్యద కావ వే నన్ను||	You immerse pleasantly in the music of Samaveda. You are the abode of noble qualities. You are worshipped by Syama Krishna. You re my refuge, Oh Syamala Devi. You enchant even Rati and Manmatha (Gods of Love). Protect me, Oh Mother. ||
