Humanity - మనిషితనం

"ఒకటి రెండంటూ విడిగా లెక్కెడితే

తొమ్మిది గుమ్మం దాటము ఎపుడూ అంకెలు ఎన్నంటే!!

పక్కన నిలబెడుతూ కలుపుకు పొతుంటే

అంకెల కైనా అందవు మొత్తం సంఖ్యలు ఎన్నంటే!!

నువ్వు నువ్వుగా నేను నేనుగా ఉన్నామనుకుంటే

కొట్ల ఒకట్లయి ఒంటరి తనాన పడి ఉంటామంతే!!

నిన్నూ నన్నూ కలిపి మనం అని అనుకున్నామంటే

ప్రపంచ జనాభా కలిపి మొత్తమూ మనిషితనం ఒకటే!!" - సిరివెన్నెల

For my non-Telugu friends, It is a poem written by a great Telugu poet saying " If we count numbers seperatly as one, two and so on you can't go beyond 9.
But if we place them side by side and keep on adding them, you would reach an infinite magnitude. If we think that you and I are different and independent beings, we would just be crores of individual beings on the planet. But if you could make 'you and me' as 'we', the world population is just 'one' - 'The Humanity'"
